There are very few limitations to what we can do for you. Jeff's Auto Glass provides mobile service to your home or office to perform your windshield replacement or chip repair. We understand the importance of a quick turnaround and pay special attention to minimize your down time.

Our mobile service covers all of Western Pennsylvania, Northern West Virginia and Eastern Ohio.

Jeff's Auto Glass is an insurance claims specialist and is recommended by insurance companies and local dealerships. We deal with all insurance companies and prepare all the necessary paper work for you.

Your insurance company cannot require you to choose any certain auto glass company. They are required by law to comply with your choice.

Windshield Replacement

Your windshield is an important part of your vehicle's structural integrity. If a windshield does not meet the precise specifications of the manufacturer, it will not fit properly in your vehicle and is a potential safety hazard. We install windshields to meet all manufacturers' specifications for your safety and that the glass will perform as it was designed to in the event of a collision.


Although the installation of a windshield is usually completed in one hour, your vehicle should remain out of service for at least 2 - 3 hours.

Since curing time varies from vehicle to vehicle, we recommend you follow the following guidelines for the first 24 hours after installation is complete to ensure your new windshield cures properly.


Safe Drive Away Time Guidelines

• Leave side window open ¾ inch



• Don't slam door



• Don't jam articles against windshield and dashboard



• Avoid speed bumps and sudden stops



• Don't remove special tape for 24 hours



• No carwash for 48 hours



• Drive as little as possible for first 24 hours

Rock Chip Repair

Our windshield chip repair is quick, easy and an affordable alternative to windshield replacement. In most cases, your insurance company will waive your deductible for rock chip repair.

Jeff's Auto Glass uses the VeriFAST system designed by PPG.

Method

To repair a chip in your windshield, the auto glass technician will start by thoroughly cleaning the chipped area of all dirt and glass particles. Once the area is clean, a resin is injected under pressure into the cracked area to seal it and hold it together. This treatment is designed to improve the optical clarity in the damaged area by significantly reducing the visible damage. It will also prevent the original damage from spreading further.

Remember, rock chip repair restores integrity to the glass. In some cases, the repair may be visible.

Jeff's Auto Glass guarantees your windshield repair. If the repair cracks or splits, we will apply the cost of the repair towards the replacement of a new windshield.
